Raymond Norman Stice, 76, known as just "Ray" to his friends and loved ones, passed away with his family by his side at St. John's Hospital on Friday, February 18, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born in San Antonio, Texas on November 5, 1945, to George and Barbara Stice, Ray grew up alongside his older brother, Abe and sister Helen. He lived most of his youth in Pawhuska, Oklahoma where he attended Pawhuska High School, graduating in 1963. After high school, Ray proudly served in the United States Air Force and then attended Northeastern University where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting. Ray married the love of his life, Kay Frances Helmer on May 17, 1969. They had one son, Kevin, who was born in 1981. Ray worked as an accountant for Citgo for many years before retiring.

Ray was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, and friend. He was incredibly generous and always willing to help anyone in need. Ray loved to golf as well as spend time with his family and friends whenever he had the time to do so. This is where he was most at peace. Moreover, Ray enjoyed bowling, football, and especially the OU Sooners. He was always looking for the next adventure that may come his way.

Ray was preceded in death by his father and mother, George and Barbara, and his sister, Helen. He is survived by his loving wife, Kay (Helmer) Stice, their son, Kevin Stice and wife Sheena, his grandson, Easton Ray Stice; brother Abe Stice, and wife Suzanne, nieces Barbara Edwards, Julie Shaffer, Jennifer Harrison and their spouses.

His time in this world has ended. Rest In Peace Ray.

A chapel service will be held Monday, February 28, 2022, at 11:00AM at Stanleys Funeral Home to honor and celebrate Ray's life.
