Robert James Woods III, 81, long time Tulsa resident, died Thursday, April 19, 2018.  Bob "Woody" was born February 23, 1937 in Memphis, Tennessee to Robert James Woods Jr. and Virginia Allen Woods.  He graduated from Central High School in 1955 and Stanford University in 1959 with a B.S. in Economics.  He began his career at IBM, later focusing on computer system design. He married Margaret (Peggy) Schreck in 1960.  He and Peggy were married 57 years and had one daughter, Abby Woods Black.  An avid golfer, Bob made a hole in one at the age of 11, and also shot his age at 75 at Southern Hills Country Club.  He was a life-long member at St John's Episcopal Church where he held numerous positions, including Junior Warden.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Maria. Survivors include his wife Peggy, daughter Abby, son-in-law Will Black, granddaughters Juliet and Annalea, brother Leonard Woods, sister and brother-in-law Melinda and Al Jones, brother-in-law Phil Schreck and his wife Jean and many cousins, nieces and nephews.  Services will be Saturday April 28th, at 2:00 p.m. at St John's Episcopal Church.  Contributions may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church Music Department.
