Rodney "Hot Rod" Eugene Sharpton was born November 20, 1974 in Collinsville, Oklahoma to parents Dallas and Mary (Cox) Sharpton, and died December 12, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Rodney was a loving father, brother, son and best friend. He was a very skillful carpenter for over 20 years. He was the man that can.

Rodney is survived by his life long love Amber Fields; two children Madison Sharpton and Dallas Sharpton; two grandchildren Korbann Priebe and Jailina Alexander, all of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. His mother Mary Townsend and step father Dwight Townsend of Tolar, Texas. His sister Ronda Smith of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Tammy Ford of Tulsa, Oklahoma, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Dallas Eugene Sharpton and his father in law Dennis Lee Fields.
