Ron retired in 1991 after working 31 years at AT&T in West Chicago, IL. Shortly after retiring, Ron and Miriam bought a home in Rogers, Arkansas where he worked another 8 years at a stone mill and did maintenance work at the Immanuel Baptist Church.
In 1999, they moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to be closer to their family. Ron and his wife raised 3 of their grandchildren with dedication and joy. He finished up his work life at Sam's Club in Tulsa, OK where he worked for the past 17 years.
Ron loved golf and at one time wanted to become a professional golfer. He also loved race cars and raced at Bob Joes Speedway in Sycamore, Illinois. He even won a couple of trophies. He loved gardening and his beautiful yard was testament of that.
In Ron's later years his greatest passion was his family. He was dedicated and loyal and he worked hard to provide for them. He was always kind and never complained. He was a caring man, a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He gave unconditionally. God was good to give this family the gift of Ron Miller and all that he gave to his loved ones.
