Rosa (Rosie) Mae Hodgson peacefully passed from this life on July 1, 2020 with her children at her side.

She was born February 18, 1927 on a farm near Parker, Kansas to Clarence Albert Clark and Sadie Rae Tindle.  At Parker High School she met the love of her life, Paull Russell Hodgson. On July 15, 1944 they married in Deming, New Mexico at the Air Base where Paul was stationed as a pilot during World War II.

At the end of the war, they moved to Sunflower, Kansas while Paul finished his undergraduate degree at the University of Kansas. In 1948 they made Tulsa their home.

As the wife of a busy attorney, she dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker and stay-at -home mom. She enjoyed gardening, canning her own fruits and vegetables and cooking. She especially enjoyed fishing and spending time at her and Paul's weekend retreat on Grand Lake.  She was a member of Boston Avenue Methodist Church from 1950 until her death.

On January 11, 2011 she suddenly lost her beloved Paul after 66 years of marriage.

Rosie is survived by her daughter, Debbi Ashley (David) and son Don Hodgson (Margaret); her grandchildren Zach Keeter, Justin Keeter, Chris Ashley and Shannon Hodgson; 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Albert and sisters Velma and Dorothy.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa and will be preceded by visitation for family and friends from 10am until noon in the chapel at Stanleys Funeral & Cremation Services, Tulsa.
