Sherrie Dean Tucker, 76, born September 11, 1946 in Tulsa, OK, the youngest of two to parents Leroy and Ruby Smith, passed away in Tulsa on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. She married her high school sweetheart, Ronnie Tucker, on November 6, 1964 and again on April 1, 2007, both times in Tulsa. She is survived by her children Barbara Sue Saleta Videll - Tulsa, Richard Allen Tucker  - Tulsa, and step son Patrick Allen Tucker (Nenette) - San Diego, and her six grandchildren: Keely Kirby - NYC, Michaela Morrow - NC, Avery Videll - Tulsa, Riley Videll - Tulsa, Brady Videll - Tulsa, Leo Tucker, San Diego, two great grandchildren, Marceline and Amarah - NC, her sister Betty Tomlinson - Tulsa, and her nieces and nephew Debby Harris, Scott Tomlinson, and Brenda Tomlinson. She is fondly remembered by numerous friends, as well as friends from the American Legion Auxiliary and 8 and 40, and many high school classmates including her closest friends Melba Tweedy, Charles and Patricia Upton, and Jerry and Romona Myers.

She was preceded in death by her father Leroy Randolph Smith, her mother Ruby Dean (Harrell) Smith and husband Ronald Lee Tucker.

Sherrie worked for the IRS, was a Supervisor of key punch operators at Florafax, Executive Director and State Youth Director for the Greater Tulsa Bowling Association, and Supervisor/Sr. Support Specialist for American Airlines, Sabre and EDS. She was raised in Tulsa, lived in England and Germany, various areas in Texas, and then moved to the High Desert of Sierra Vista, AZ 2007 till 2019, before returning to Tulsa.  Sherrie was involved in bowling for many years, she held many executive positions with the American Legion Auxiliary, and was currently the Chapeau for 8/40 Pima Salon #164 and Department d' AZ, and on the Nationale level, was the Hatbox Editor and Publicity Chairperson.  Sherrie loved the color pink, Dallas Cowboys Football, pink carnations, hippos, country music, arts and crafts, all things patriotic, all holidays, and especially spending time with grandkids and friends.

Memorial Services will be held at Stanley's Funeral Home Chapel, 3959 E 31st St., Tulsa, OK on Friday, April 14, 2023 at 11:00 am.  The service will be streamed for those who cannot attend and will be followed by a reception in Stanley's Club Room.  Interment will be at a later date.
