Tracy Dean Harris went home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 11, 2020. He was surrounded by his family at his home. Tracy was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on May 22, 1955. He was raised by his loving parents Glen and Dorothy (Beesley) Harris. He graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1973 and attended Tulsa Vo-Tech to study Computer Science.

In the late 1970s, he worked for BOK in downtown Tulsa. During this time, he met the love of his life, Carolyn. Tracy and Carolyn married on June 4, 1981. Together they raised their four children, Holly, Shelly, John, and Samantha.

Tracy was a skilled and valued employee of Hitachi, Mapco, IBM, WIlliams and Wipro, among others. He was a beloved manager and well respected in his career field. Tracy also enjoyed success in his small businesses. He owned Arrowhead Auto Sales in Tulsa and Southern Cross Music & Sound in downtown Okmulgee. His small businesses were an opportunity for him to work with his family in day to day operations, which brought him great joy.

Along with his brothers Dale and Scott and their families, Tracy shared a passion for martial arts and achieved a 1st degree black belt in 1990. Tracy will also be remembered for his vast knowledge of cars and motorcycles. Tracy loved to share his hobbies with his children and grandchildren.

One of Tracy's greatest contributions to all of our lives was his music. He was a talented multi instrumentalist with a passion for the guitar. The sound of Tracy's guitar was a central part of family gatherings. He often composed music to express his love for his family.

Tracy is survived by his adoring wife of 39 years, Caroyln; daughter Holly Moreland and her husband Eric; daughter Shelly Brown and her husband Kevin; son, John Harris and his wife Emily; daughter, Samantha Nole and her husband Houston; precious grandchildren, Kaydi, Jayden, Jackson, and Kalli Moreland; Frank, Lucy, and Stella Brown; Milo and Dexter Nole; and Andrew Harris; brother, Dale and his wife Glenda Harris; sister, Dot and her husband Ken Smith; brother, Scott and his wife Carey Harris; and several beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Dorothy Harris.

Tracy's legacy will always be his devotion to his family. Above all else, Tracy was a husband, father, and grandfather. His happiest moments were family dinners, celebrations, and vacations surrounded by the people he loved the most. We will miss Tracy's gentle spirit, the kindness and generosity he showed others, the sound of his laughter, his classic Dad jokes, and his love for a good snack. His strong faith in Jesus Christ guided his life. We are comforted in our faith knowing that we will all be together again someday.

A memorial service will be held outdoors at the East Pavilion at Camp Loughridge, 4900 W. 71st St Tulsa, OK 74131, at 3:00pm on Tuesday, November 24, 2020.
