Travis Kenneth Gregg passed from this life peacefully on April 10, 2018 at the age of 97 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on July 30, 1920 in Burkburnett, Texas to Arthur Lloyd and Fern (Travis) Gregg. He met the love of his life, Norma "Jean" Polk. They enjoyed 70 years of marriage until her passing on November 27, 2008. Travis retired as a Major in the United States Air Force, serving in WWII as an instructor and pilot of B-29's. He then joined his brother, Wilbur "Speedy" Gregg, and the two were business partners for 35 years. Travis and Speedy owned Gregg Appliance Company and Red Star Oil Company, before retiring in 1982. Upon retirement, Travis became the beloved comedian extraordinaire at the historic Spotlight Theatre in Tulsa for over 20 years. He was well loved for his sense of humor and gentle nature and will be dearly missed by many special people.
